The Everlasting Arms

20 Feb

Ever catch yourself thinking, I’ve done all I can; I don’t know what else to do? We’re expected to take care of our selves, but this isn’t always possible. We can’t always resolve our problems, heal our relationships, find all the money we need, or stitch all those loose ends back together. That’s why we need the Lord.

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms–Deut 33:27

I love the second half of that verse, because it reminds me that there’s someone there to catch me when I fall. He’s promised to take care of me when I can’t take care of myself.

Are you at the end of your rope today? Then let go. Just relax, for underneath are those everlasting arms. Let Him catch you, and lift you back up where you belong.

David
