You Won’t Be Disappointed

09 Jun

One of my favorite Bible chapters is Genesis 41. Joseph had spent around 13 years either as a slave, or in incarceration. But then the Pharaoh, hearing of his unique abilities, calls to have him brought from prison to decipher a dream. And within the space of about an hour Joseph rises from the status of convict to Prime Minister of the Egyptian Empire.

It may seem like things aren’t going your way right now; in fact, things may have been going poorly for you for a long, long time. But God can turn your destiny on a dime. Keep trusting in Him to change your circumstances. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” (Rms. 10:17, NASV.)
